No, courses are informal, fun and the content is developed to suit you.  

How much does a course cost?
Most of the courses are free.   If there is a cost, assistance will be given to you to gain financial support if you are eligible.

Where do the courses take place?
Classes are held across Dundee at a variety of community venues.

Do courses fit in with school times?
Yes, in the main, courses are during school hours or they are held in the evenings.

What about childcare?
Childcare is usually available at no cost.

Do I have to take class work home with me?
You won't have to do work at home for taster or introductory courses.   If you do a course leading to a qualification, more than likely, you will have to do some work in your own time.

Do these courses help me to progress onto college or university?
Not directly, but staff are available to help you think about all the options available to you and how you can access them.
